Revolution Thump Orlando as Columbus and Charlotte Also Claim Road Wins

Saturday's slate of MLS action belonged largely to the away teams, as Columbus Crew, Charlotte FC, and Orlando City all traveled with points on the mind — though only two of those three sides walked away with the full reward.
The biggest statement of the evening came out of Foxborough, where New England Revolution put on a commanding display at Gillette Stadium, running out 4–2 winners over Orlando City SC. The Revolution's four-goal haul was the most emphatic result of the day and will provide a significant boost to their playoff ambitions heading into the final stretch of the regular season.
In Montreal, CF Montréal could not find a way past Columbus Crew at Stade Saputo, falling 0–2 at home. It was a clean sheet and a professional road performance from Columbus, who continue to prove they are a dangerous side away from Lower.com Field.
Down in Washington, D.C. United hosted Charlotte FC at Audi Field but could not hold on, dropping a 1–2 decision. The loss will sting for D.C., who conceded the decisive goal despite getting on the board themselves. Charlotte, meanwhile, will bank three valuable points in their own push up the Eastern Conference standings.
On the West Coast, San Jose Earthquakes and LAFC played out an entertaining 2–2 draw at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara. The shared spoils may feel like a missed opportunity for both sides, though each will take something from a contest that went back and forth until the final whistle.
